The project “The Chilean Neuromorphic Computing Initiative”, led by Samuel Hevia from the Faculty of Physics at the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, focuses on the research and development of neuromorphic computing technologies. This project is funded by the Air Force Office of Scientific Research (AFOSR) of the United States.
This initiative centers on the development of neuromorphic computing systems, which mimic the architecture and functioning of the human brain to improve efficiency and information processing capacity.
